Braxton County Released Inmates is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, arrange a transfer, or pull an official booking or release record. Contact the office that created the record.
Official Braxton Record Contacts
Braxton County does not operate a stand-alone county jail. Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility is run by WVDCR, while the sheriff may hold arrest and prisoner-transport records. Courts hold the orders behind bail, dismissal, sentencing, and probation. Use the contact that matches the record sought, and verify office hours before traveling unless hours are expressly listed.

Registry and Immigration Lines
Corrections to the West Virginia State Police Sex Offender Registry can be directed to 304-746-2133 or registry@wvsp.gov. ICE's Detention Reporting and Information Line is 1-888-351-4024, Monday through Friday except holidays, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. Those systems have narrow purposes and are not general Braxton County release lists.
Release-Record Costs
No fixed CRJCF release-record or booking-photo fee was found. West Virginia FOIA permits actual reproduction cost rather than hourly search or retrieval labor. Ask for electronic delivery and a cost estimate before production. A separate WVDCR jail-processing charge described in agency policy concerns an inmate account and must not be presented as a public-record fee.
Choose the route that fits the request:
- For a released person or release record, use the Braxton County search and records path.
- For supervision, consult Probation & Parole.
- For same-day release checks, use Jail Releases: 24 Hours.
- For a calculated date, use Projected Release; for alerts, use VINELink Inmate Search.
- For one facility or agency, select its page in the footer and contact the named custodian.
- For a state prisoner, use WVDCR; for federal or immigration custody, use BOP or ICE.
